Hi all. We are planning on doing a few days of the Nakasendo and want to leave our car in a paid lot for 3 days by a station and train in. I keep reading the signs at the 24h ones like Times but none mention *more* than 24 hours. Does anyone know if it’s possible to leave for this time without incurring a fine or worse? I’m hoping we can just keep the ticket and take the charge on the chin when we get back, a few thousand ¥. Thanks in advance.

The mentions of “24 hours” simply means that the fee clock restarts at midnight, so if you’re there for three days, you’ll pay 3x the full-day price.
