3. Who in their right mind takes a TEENAGER to temple of all places when taking them to Japan? They will get bored and then they will do something stupid (like this) basically without fail.

   You know before entering hanauma bay I Hawaii there was an orientation of what you are supposed to and not supposed to do.

   I think the airlines should play something while people are waiting.

   Some people are just plain ignorant. For example, where you stand on the escalator. Should you return the food trays at the food court ? Should you use your phone on the train ? Should you grab all available train seats even those away from you ? And those things before entering the building are for umbrellas ,not to throw your trash in..

13. Why are they just now reporting this? Todaiji has been getting vandalized like crazy since the late 2010s.

    I remember in 2009 it was spotless, breathtaking. I felt like I was in a spiritual place the first time I went there. Until 2013 seemed good. Left japan and came back around 2017 and sometime around then graffiti exploded. It was all over the place and they weren’t doing anything about it. Nobody arrested anyone, wasn’t on TV afaik.

    Make an example out of this idiot before the temple is gone ffs. Give him 5 years in Japanese jail like that idiot is getting in Italy for vandalizing the coliseum.

    This is Toshodaiji not Todaiji. Whoever is in charge of Todaiji apparently doesn’t care. The place is filled with graffiti and I’ve never heard of anyone getting arrested over it, or even shamed.
