I’ve been lurking on this sub for a couple of months, trying to fine-tune my upcoming trip to Japan, and I’d love to hear what y’all think about my itinerary. My SO and I are huge foodies of the gourmand camp, so any suggestions for restaurants ($-$$$) would be much appreciated! I’ve planned out most of the dinners, but left breakfast and lunch for surprise finds.
My biggest concern is the heat (we’re Canadian), so if anyone has any tips/locations to deal with the weather, please let me know!
**July 30: Arrive**

**Aug 11: Hakone Day Trip**

Don’t go to Nippori fabric town until you return to Tokyo at the end of your trip. There’s no point in hauling a bunch of fabric to Kyoto and back if you don’t have to
