I live in a UR Apartment and now I’m planning on buying a bicycle. But, I’m not quite sure if I need UR management’s approval for parking my bicycle or do I need to pay extra for it.
Does anyone have any experience with this? I tried looking at some older posts, but couldn’t come across anything specific. I know that there’s extra payment for a parking of a vehicle, but I think that is for bigger vehicls like a Bike or a car or something.

When I lived in my UR apartment there was free bicycle parking, and you didn’t need a sticker. About once a year they would tag old unused bikes, and tow them away. For your specific building it would probably be better to check it out on the UR website and see what it says.
Ask the management company in your UR, rules can be different per property. On mine, I just go to the management company and tell them I have a bicycle, my room number, and they give me a sticker to put on my bicycle. It’s free
Check with apartment. Usually they have bicycle spaces and hopefully they have a space for you. Be wary of thinking of keeping a bicycle outside your apartment as that might be forbidden and also taking it up and down in the lift might be forbidden too. UR are great but they are pretty inflexible if there is a rule.
Just did it last week. Bicycle seems just need to report to them to get sticker.
