So, planning a 15 days trip to Japan next spring and wanted opinions on the itinerary. I’ll be with my wife (31f and 41m) and her mother (63f) will tag along.
Is there something I should skip? Anything I should add? Any recommendations on accommodations and things to do will be greatly appreciated! Will there be monkeys at the snow monkey park around that time?

Hey I’m just commenting to ask when you booked your flight and if you got a good deal for it? I am currently also planning a trip in Cherry Blossom season next year, except down in Kyushu. I know this is a more expensive time of year for flights so I’m curious about yours!
Have you considered Otaru? The area is about 30 min from Sapporo.

Are you renting a car or moving around by train? It could totally change your trip schedule.
For example by car I would totally recommend going to the Takayama Inari Shrine not too far from Aomori and maybe even seeing the Tsuru no Maihashi could be worth it.
For your time off around Sendai, not too far there is one of the three famous scenery of Japan at the matsushima bay.
For your soba challenge, I would recommend booking it in advance. When I went this year we almost couldn’t enter because there were a lot of people.

Nikka distillery in Yoichi if you’re a fan. Otaru is nice. Both easy train from Sapporo.
