Do any US citizens know of an affordable service for doing the streamlined tax process for past years? (Or know of a truly idiot-proof guide to doing it yourself?) I have a huge mental block when it comes to stuff like this but don’t want to put it off any longer. I know there are past threads about this but I haven’t found any specific recommendations for tax services.
Stupid question #1: is it really okay to ask stupid questions? Okay jk…
Stupid question #2: anybody can help me giving a review of anytime fitness in Noborito?
Are they female friendly? Do they have all of the machines and training equipments that gold’s gym has?
I’m about to move to the area and currently still a long time member of gold’s gym in Machida. The place is female friendly and huge (2 floors gym with wide area of each floor). I’d like to know if anytime fitness in Noborito has similar quality both for female friendliness and machine/equipment options.
I have looked at their website, but some reviews from members that actually going there would be more helpful!
If it’s not female friendly, I’d opt to go to gold’s gym nearby my workplace (even not as big as the one in Machida 😞)
The reason is, I’d like to minimize potential harassment on the gym and “fighting” over equipments with male members. Previously I could do bench press, squat, deadlift, free weight training peacefully without being ever needed to “fight” over with other members as women’s area are particularly having less people.
Ofc sometimes I will need to share equipments with other members but they also have multiple machines (3-4? Or more ) for trainings I like to do that are not supported on the women’s area.
I’d be nice if anyone can give some info/review. Thank you!
Edit: changed some words for better understanding. English is not my native language.
How would you know if the area you’re living in would flourish (or continue to) for the next years to come?
We just moved to a new house, that is roughly 1hr from Tokyo. The nearest densely populated area (city center) to my house is by bus max 20 mins.
I love the house but I’m having buyer’s remorse of me being away from the hustle and bustle of everything.
I’m hoping that in the future, my area would have more commercial establishments but I can’t ascertain.
‘Location is King’ was not running through our thoughts when we were searching for a house. Not until now.
Does anyone have a dentist rec in Tokyo to get a wisdom tooth removed ASAP? I can’t get an appointment with my usual dentist for another month and have one that’s coming in sideways and it hurts, a lot. I’m one of those folks who has a hard time at the dentist due to fear but there’s no way I can put up with the pain for that long, so a gentle dentist who does good work and is available soon would be great (also the cost, since I’ve never had any removed here).
Any recommendations for a handheld vacuum cleaner? I just need one that I can use to clean my sofa/mattress. Preferably something that’s under 5000-yen.
Has anyone here used Duskin or similar for help with cleaning and organizing their home?
I’ve never hired cleaning help before, but things worked out in a way where I need it. I’m curious how long it takes professionals to get a room clean, or a bathroom, or a kitchen… I really have no idea what to expect.
Do you blame your co-workers for being an asshle because of their sh8ty work culture?
Any double mattress topper recommendations?
