Do you know any good real estate vendors which doesn’t harass you?

I saw this [other post](https://www.reddit.com/r/japanlife/comments/14viomu/open_house_real_estate_vendor/) about the aggressiveness of Open House.

I am interested to look into the real estate market, however I’ve hold off as any time we were interested in looking into something, I had to give them our phone number, which they’ll likely use to harass me.

Do you have any respectful vendor to advice? Knowing I don’t have any strong condition on budget/location/type of appartment at this moment… (except I want it to be in Tokyo)

  1. Email is the ‘issue’ more than phone in my experience. I’ve given my number to a Open House group company recently and they only used it to confirm appointments.

  2. UR is never aggressive as they don’t have any commission, but the choices are a bit more limited as it’s for government owned properties and doesn’t include privately owned listings. *edit* and only for rentals, doesn’t include purchases

  3. I’ve been to both apamanshop and minimini and never had any forms of communication unless I ask them to contact me about properties.

  4. Be careful about registering for information sent by post. A lot of real estate companies send “for sale” brochures by kuroneko mail and cancelling it can really be nigh impossible.

My ex gf registered for brochures in her name at my address but I couldn’t get it cancelled at all. In frustration I even called Yamato about it and they said they can’t return it to sender and can only stop delivery of all mail, not just mail addressed to one person, even if they don’t live at the address. So to this day it’s likely my old address still gets her mail.
