Hi everyone, I am looking for feedback on my itinerary for Japan this November. (First 2 weeks). Overall, not so much on the day to day but on the overall itinerary and movements. I plan to get a 14 day jr pass.
-1: arrive in HND at 5 pm. At airport: must grab pocket wifi, if possible JR pass.

– Back to Tokyo: From Ogizawa, take a bus to Nagano and return to Tokyo by the Hokuriku Shinkansen.
– Day 5: Hakone day trip
– Day 6: Tokyo to Kyoto
– AM: check out and travel via train to Kyoto in the late afternoon.

– AM: Check out. Ask to hold luggage. Try to catch sunrise shots.
– Afternoon train to Osaka from Miyajima. (1.5 – 2 hours)

– Activities: explore
– See: castle, dotonbori shittenno-ji, kuromon Ichiban market
– Sun Nov 12: Day 14: Osaka
– Possible day trip Himeji (30 mins)

– Day 15: Osaka to Tokyo to Home
– Early AM Train to Tokyo from Osaka. Head to HND.
– Flight to home: departs at 6 PM.

You better buy your Jr pass from klook before Sept 30
Did a similar Kyoto-Hiroshima (1 night)-Osaka thing on my trip. What worked well for me was having my Kyoto hotel send my bigger bags to Osaka, and I went to hiroshima with just essentials and a change of clothes in my backpack.
