Amazon prime day finds?

I found JT quartet 1 without the work book, for regular price, bought it, such a regular deal!

Did anyone find anything nice?

  1. Lots of cheap switchbot stuff. Some good deals on memory. Lots of drinks on sale. TP-Link stuff seems to be pretty low.

As always Amazon stuff seems to be at their standard lowest, so a great time to stock up on cables or batteries.

So good Prime Deals if you are interested in whatever random TV/PC they marked a few thousand yen off past its previous lowest price (which great if you get the additional 7.5% back in points — remember to use the app.)

  2. 20,000 off Apple Watch Ultra.

EDIT – Just checked and that offer is not there now. The bastards! Sorry if you missed it.

EDIT EDIT – They still have the offer on 49mm S size with orange band and a couple of options at S/M size. You have to click on the size settings to find them. Must be running out of stock. Get in quick if you want it.

  3. Standing desk for wfh setup. Less ¥16000 from the original price on Amazon and around ¥31000 less from Yodobashi’s price

EDIT: Just checked and it’s not available anymore. Like literally removed from Amazon (not even a link with ‘currently unavailable’). Anyway it’s the L-shaped standing desk from Flexispot. The ones left when I click the link is only for the V-shaped version.

  4. Got a small discount on a pair of new balance shoes and some knock off sonicare brush heads, but nothing much.
I usually just buy what I already need.

  5. Got my Kindle that I fully regret not buying last year when it was 9980 yen. Paid 15,980 this year, but at least it’s the 16GB version, no ads, and comes with a case and a year of Kindle for Kids and 1800 yen in points.

  6. Got a dual Belikin usb-c adapter that I badly needed, work shoes, and portable stove. Considering getting a cordless vacuum cleaner

  7. Since I have a newborn baby, I bought many baby needs for 3-6 months ahead 🥹

  8. Rotavator/plough for the garden for ¥17000 and a chest freezer for ¥33000 (both reasonably priced and things that were on our list to buy, rather than spontaneous)

  9. Wireless earphone and a new pillow. Vacuum robots seems to have pretty good deals though.

  10. I just coincidentally signed up to prime yesterday.
Is prune day already finished ? I have a full cart but haven’t made the purchases yet.

Do many of you buy household things in bulk as opposed to in store ?

  12. Snagged myself an Echo Show 5 to use exclusively as a desk clock 🙂

  13. Table and chairs for my backyard, new coffee grinder, new bedroom alarm clock.

Nothing crazy, but 15~20 percent off on stuff I needed anyway.

  14. Deals on portable power supplies are very tempting but will probably just end up with a hot sandwich maker today.

  15. Chicken liver treats for the dog, mask restock for me. Nothing too thrilling.
Partner’s phone is in its final moments, so considering some options there. If anyone has any recommendations in the ~4万 range, I’d love to hear them. He mostly takes photos and streams audio, nothing too intense. Currently in a toss up between an iphone 12 mini refurb, or the OPPO A73 just to hold him over for a while.

  16. Bought an anker wireless charger 633 for less than 10k, its now even cheaper than retail price (119$).

  17. Hitachi fridge for 60’000yen off

A nice air purifier for 5000yen off

Still looking for other nice stuff

  18. Oral B electric toothbrush. I got one with discount + coupon. First time using it and it’s fucking great. Can’t believe I didn’t buy something like this earlier..

  19. Amazon JP i think i only got nail glue and for Amazon US i price matched a 4k firestick at our px. 😩 i was hoping I can snag a big water bottle from either Amazon to no avail, im still lowkey shopping around for some biker shorts and what not

  20. 4tb Samsung SSD for Â¥15万 – not the best but was listed a couple of weeks ago for double

  21. Nothing really spectacular but the Samsung 980 pro with heatsink had a bit of money off so I went for it along with some consumables that I always eat which had 10% or so off.

    Also cat food!

  22. Sonos soundbars are on a good deal right now.

And also a lot of cleaning products for bathroom, toilet and kitchen.

  23. Some short socks, a cap with open back for ponytail and a Spiegen car phone holder with 30% off.

Was looking into high velocity dryers for my dogs and grooming table but don’t have a budget for big purchases atm. Will probably check those out for black Friday.

  24. Kindle 8gb paper white since my old one I bought used seems to not want to charge properly.

  25. Got desk, montior light, controller headphone holder and some cable management stuff. The table was only 1000 yen off according to the price tracker but need one asap to wfh so bought it.

  26. I checked my things against the previously here recommended (thanks!) Keepa app (price monitor) and surprisingly, every one to two month they’re as low as now on Prime Sales. Not worth it to hurry, just buying the things I already had on the whishlist.

  27. Ha. What deals. I’m had my eye on a table, price is more expensive with the prime deal. It’s all a scam to make it seem like you need to buy now to save.

  28. Finally joined the air fryer cult. Also picked up a dehumidifier because the one in my bathroom died and snagged a portable ac/heat unit.

Hoping to use all the extra points to order Pikmin 4 with a decent discount.

  29. I got some bulk packs of Savas protein shakes! I actually ordered some last week, but the price drop was really good so I stocked up. Happy about my find 🙂

  30. got a hifiman sundara for 26k (cheapest i have ever seen) and a fancy eletric kettle with temperature settings

  31. Wasn’t too impressed by the “Prime Day” deals for most of the things on my wish list. Ordered a Samsung 1TB external SSD for Â¥9k (it was almost Â¥14k when I bought one in April).

Feels like a lot of the “deals” are less impressive after prices went up due to the weak yen.
