I’ll be visiting for a total of 22 days. The first 11 days will be with a group in Tokyo/Kyoto/Osaka. Then have 11 days solo, breaking off from a group. Not sure if I’m too light or too heavy on the following days. I plan to use the 7-day Hokkaido Rail pass for the time there. Thanks!

**Day 9-11 – Tokyo**

* This will be my 2nd leg in Tokyo. Don’t have much planned other than eat n drink around. do last minute shopping. We can assume I’ve already done the main attractions during the first leg. Also open to suggestions here for things off the beaten path. I only plan to have an IC card and no JR pass for Tokyo.

Thank you for the help!

  1. The Hokkaido section looks fine. I personally think the wilderness in the far east and northeast are what’s really worth visiting, but sticking to Hakodate / Sapporo is okay too, just less… special.

Given you have 11 days for Tokyo *and* Osaka / Kyoto, I think it’s safe to assume you *wouldn’t* have done all the main attractions lol. It’s hard to suggest where to go in Tokyo without first knowing your itinerary on the first leg, but I think you can look at things that have a known close-down date, such as Teamlab Planets or Gundam Factory.
