My husband and I are in Kyoto right now, but planning to leave on the 16th. I know we won’t be able to see the main parade, but we are wanting to experience some of the festivities (mainly the street food and just a general fun atmosphere). We’re staying at a hotel that is about a 13 minute walk to Yasaka Shrine, but I have no idea where the festivities are tonight and tomorrow. Some advice would be appreciated!
