To be honest I would not send the case of the monitor. Just get the expensive bits out like the memory, SSD cards, motherboard etc.
Are you trying to do it as cheap as possible? As fast as possible?
Shipping it by boat will of course be the cheapest way. But as the other comment says, there’s a lot of dead weight with a desktop computer, which will cause the shipping cause to go up. If you can just ship the lighter components, you have a lot better options.
To the people saying it’s not worth shipping the whole thing, keep in mind that his brother might not be technical enough to rebuild it, nor have enough funds to purchase new parts. I myself took a huge financial hit when purchasing parts due to the exchange rate lately.
