Beautiful hotel with even better hospitality. Stayed here for a couple nights in the Japanese modern suite and loved it.
I did the art tour (when I wasn’t exploring for fun) and had yoga class in the room shown in pictures two and three.
Studio Ghibli illustrators took inspiration from a couple spots in the hotel for Spirited Away. Might post specific side by sides in the comments later but as someone who has seen that movie many times growing up, it was my favorite part of the tour.

Long live the days of “the Japanese bubble Time” when Money was no problem.
It is still a very beautiful Spot to visit, even for an afternoon.
Reminds me too much of scenes in the Like A Dragon series. Cool and beautiful.
