I need to order some documents from the US, but they only accept check or money order. I remember I got a money order from the post office once, but I read that service was discontinued. Is there anywhere else I can get one?

Western Union has a money order service if they will accept it.
If you have a US bank account, or know someone who does, there’s often a bill pay service the bank offers that will mail a check for you to whoever. Have you considered that route?
When I had to do this, I ended up having a friend get a cashier’s check on base…
