Ocean trout is my new favorite fish for sushi


I had ocean trout at a small local sushi spot here in San Diego for the first time today. I i must say this might be the best piece of nigiri I have ever had. If you find it on a menu you have to order it!

  1. Saw one of the online sushi supply place in Socal had it. Said it was farm-raised in Norway and Scotland. What exactly is the difference in farm-raised ocean trout and farm-raised salmon?
