6. Do you speak Japanese or did the chef speak a common language? I find language barriers can detract heavily from the experience, though it’s still usually a wonderful one

11. I’d love to try this but I’m weird about texture and wouldn’t want to insult the chef with the faces and piece or two I’m sure to spit out 😅 I’ll stick to my local American sushi for now but thanks for sharing your beautiful experience.

15. How surreal, wife and I were literally here in June. The hand roll picture is nearly identical to mine I had to take a double look! Will definitely return to sushi Masashi one day again.
