Things to do in Ginza?

Can you suggest places to visit in Ginza?
For family with children. Preferably in a building.

  1. It’s mostly fancy shops and packed with tourists spending like crazy. Some of the back streets are interesting for random wandering but I wouldn’t particularly recommend it to anyone who wasn’t really into shopping at high-end stores. There are some specialty shops for stationary, gold or sword hilts that might be cool. There are “antenna shops” In Yurakucho, next to Ginza, that have goods, crafts and food from specific prefectures.

  2. Once the weather cools down in the evening, walking Ginza to Yurakucho to Hibiya to Marunouchi is a really pleasant stroll that takes you by lots of shops and malls that you can pop into, plus the Imperial Palace moat.
