  1. Look, Mayu is great. She’s also an idiot, she doesn’t understand a lot of things.

She once went to wrong city for a show and only realized when nobody else turned up. Her favourite food is shrimp despite being allergic to it. she recently bought a plane ticket and turned up at the wrong airport for her flight.

Honestly, Mayu is a precious creature who needs to be protected at all costs.

  2. It really annoys me when the talent makes these comments that fans have been saying forever and the company still can’t be bothered to fix the problem.

  3. Mayu gets confused over many things but then again she’s made out of silly putty so I’m not surprised

  4. I wanna say unify the belts and call it a day, but the IWGP isn’t even a year old, while the Strong is, what, two months old and on its second champion?

I recall defending having both titles at first, but now it’s just a mess.

  5. I think it’s safe to assume both belts were created with Mercedes in mind, so I don’t really blame Mayu.

  6. And now, both those titles that, if I remember correctly were made for US and international exposure, are now in the same place in Japan.

  7. The STRONG belt was made specifically for Mercedes only for her to get injured.

It really serves no purpose beyond that, and anyone else holding it feels like a transitional champion in between as she comes back.

  8. I presumed Giullia winning the Strong title meant she was gonna be going overseas for a while as NJPW Strong is a USA based promotion, no? Otherwise what’s the point in her winning that title when she could have challenged for the IWGP titles 🤷‍♀️ Giullia and her faction would make all kinds of sense on Strong, RoH and AEW tv although I’m sure getting working visas ain’t the easiest thing to sort.

  9. There’s many differences:
    – One is on a black strap, the other is on a lavender purple strap
    – The plates look different on each other
    – One is primarily defended in Japan while the other is mostly defended in USA as part of NJPW STRONG
I could go on but I’m being nitpick-y

  10. Face it. The IWGP and STRONG women’s belts are now the new SWA Championships.
