People really didn’t mind being crowded.
This reminds of those ads for chain hotels advertising their swimming pools. They have shots of people squished in there like sardines … somehow in Japan (and Asia in general it seems) that’s appealing. I can’t think of anything worse.
I guess the concept of personal bubble doesn’t exist in Japan.
Stampedes are no joke. Stay home
I was there on Sunday evening. It was… an experience. We grabbed a few snacks, saw two floats, and left because it was just so tight and HOT. I’m in arima onsen today which is a relief. ♨️🤩
I was there last year before japan opened and it was packed…. can’t imagine it now
Was gonna go after work. Happy I didn’t. That looks like hell. Getting home would’ve been the worse thing ever
