Is it possible to get a work visa without a degree AND 10 years of experience?

I just checked vacancies for foreigners which provide visa sponsorship (IT). So… almost all of them providing sponsorship, don’t require bachelor/master degree and ask 3-5-7(maximum) years of experience.
And it just doesn’t fit with immigration rules as i see it. Or i need to fulfill requirements only without sponsorship, but if i have it than i’m qualified?
I know about **Specified Skills Visa**, but there are plenty of vacancies with *english only* or *without japanese.* And it seems it was designed to attract people of poor asian regions for small salary, but they propose like 10m yen (before taxes) on average. Am i missing something?

  1. I think you mean “OR” not “AND” in your post.

I think without a degree the 10 years of relevant experience is a guideline. As I came that route myself i only know that I had 10 years experience. I’ve not met anyone that came through with less but expect they are out there. Personally, I wouldn’t relocate based on have less than the guideline.
