  1. Landing at 9:10pm and hoping to exchange your pass in Narita on the same day is very ambitious. The ticketing booth closes at 9:45. Also, the last direct train to Shinjuku leaves at 944pm. That’s very, very tight.

    Relax and take your time, you can take a Skyliner train to Ueno and then the Yamanote. It’ll be 90mins, and you can do that up until 11pm. You’ll get your pass on day 2.

    Also on day 2, you’re aware that Daikoku Futo, Tatsumi and Shibaura are resting areas on highways that are not accessible on foot or via public transportation ? You’ll need a car to get there. You can probably find a taxi that will get you there (it will not be cheap), but getting one on the way back won’t be easy. Also, car meetings are not everyday.
