English teacher career options moving back to the UK?

So the situation is not what the title may suggest – it’s my Japanese fiancé who works as a Japan certified English teacher at a Japanese school.
We have considered moving back to my native UK in the next 5 or so years – I am not too unhappy here, but feel that I would like to be close to my family and close friends as I get older, and my fiancé, despite being Japanese, finds Japanese culture extremely tough to adapt to (he has ADHD and Japan is probably one of the worst countries to have such traits) and he would generally prefer to live in a western country such as the UK (he has lived in Australia, New Zealand and the US extensively in the past). He doesn’t have a great relationship with his parents and there is nothing much that keeps him here except the issue of how he would work outside of Japan.

As I work as a consultant in a gaishikei, I would have little issue finding a job in the UK, and many of my colleagues who moved back to the uk even got hired at a higher level, as Japan requires more years for promotion in our industry.
However for my fiancé, I’m struggling to think of options for him. Retraining as a UK teacher would be difficult, and he’s not keen on being a Japanese language teacher. One long shot option is a Japanese expat school in London, which I understand works under the Japanese system, but I wonder if there are other options, whether teaching or otherwise, which could make use of teaching experience in Japan? Appreciate that the options may be limited, but would be grateful to know about anything I may have missed or not thought of.
We would be moving to London, for reference.
