Today’s lunch at the airport 🫶🏻 Anyone know what type of fish is here?

  1. Can confirm that the white one is mekajiki (swordtail) – the reddish brown spots are quite characteristic.

    The others are sake (salmon), maguro (tuna), and hamachi (yellowtail jack).

  3. Man I’d be mad about that salmon lol. I hate the grey skin part on it. I don’t usually see places leaving it on unless someone’s bad at skinning?

  4. Salmon, tuna, yellowtail and snapper? Could be sea bass or mahi, too, if he’s in Mexico

  5. Salmon, tuna, yellowtail, swordfish, a fine spread.

    Edit: I’m not a fine of descaling salmon and leaving the skin on for sashimi. I prefer to have the skin baked and served in a roll with onion.
