This is my 24 night trip itenary. Some days are purposefully light, and others may be a bit heavy. I understand I may not be able to do everything some days. I’m also the kind of person who just enjoys wandering and slower paced days, and some faster paced days. Also I have double hotels booked in Fujiyoshida, Nikko, and Hiroshima. This is in case I decide to just stay overnight and make my way back in the morning (The hotels were like 40 USD a night)
Do you see anything major i’m missing, or any suggestions? Could use some food recommendations. I haven’t planned on eating anywhere specific except for the ones I listed.

I would take up your idea of staying overnight in Hiroshima a night or two. You can leave your luggage at your osaka hotel and travel light.
Okayama is only 40 mins from Hiroshima so it might be best to do it on the way / back from rather than travel 60 mins back to Osaka from Okayama then go back past it to Hiroshima on a 100 mins journey.
Okayama has a great garden you could then fit in as well.
Don’t believe the snow monkeys will have snow in October, just in case your not aware.
