Hi all,
Finalizing my itinerary for my trip. It’ll be me and a few other’s 2nd/3rd time in Japan but I’ll traveling with some folks going there for the first time. Our party overall is 7 people, but I’ll be splitting off into a party of 4 after Tokyo. We’ll be flying from the US. Food is gonna be pretty free-form here since our party is pretty big for a majority of the trip. I think more or less everything is in the same area, but any suggestions on how to optimize this furthe?

Hotel home base is located in Taito City, Tokyo
Tokyo – Sept 22nd:
-Land in Tokyo at 6pm at Narita
-Train to hotel and check-in
-Get quick dinner, maybe a bit of walking around but nothing crazy first day
Tokyo – Sept 23rd:
-Take advantage of jet lag and wake up early for Tsukiji Fish Market (the market)
-Odaiba for the Gundam statue, sightseeing around the bay and the mall
-Do some random Odaiba attractions
Tokyo – Sept 24th:
-Asakusa Temple food & sightseeing
-Shibuya Crossing/Shibuya sightseeing
-Visit Shbiuya Sky
-Akihabara
Tokyo – Sept 25th:
-TeamLabs Borderless
-Shinjuku/Harajuku walking around
-Muscle Girl Bar (tourist trap #1)
-Terumae Izakaya (AYCE drink/izakaya place)
Tokyo – Sept 26th:
-Ghibli Museum
-Party of 3 split off for Overnight stay at Fujigoko for sightseeing and the sunrise
Tokyo – Sept. 27th:
-Fuji sunrise
-Head back to Tokyo
-Regroup with others for lunch/dinner (They’ll be at DisneySea)
-Tokyo Tower/Red Tokyo Tower Park thing
Kyoto – Sept 28th:
-Leave Tokyo, head to Kyoto
-Head to 和醸良麺 すがり for dipping noodles
-Arashiyama Tourist Trap Sight Seeing (Bamboo Grove, Monkey Park, etc.)
Arima – Sept. 29th:
-Party of 4 splits off, leaves Kyoto for Arima
-Chill in the Arima Onsen Town/Resort
-Onsens, onsens, and more onsens
Fukouka – Sept. 30th:
-Leave Arima for Fukouka
-Visit one of the beaches (any recommendations?)
-Visit Canal City Hakata
-Onsens, onsens, and more onsens
Fukouka – Oct. 1st:
-Daytrip to Oita & Beppu for Hot Springs and sightseeing
Osaka -Oct. 2nd:
-Leave Fukouka for Osaka & regroup with everyone
-Sightseeing around Dottonbori
-Visit a Don Quixote
-Spa World
Osaka – Oct. 3rd:
-Visit Universal Studios Japan
-Yakitori Ichimatsu
Osaka – Oct. 4th:
-Daytrip to Hiroshima
-Visit memorials & museums
-Visit Miyajima
-Go back to Osaka and go bar hopping at night
Osaka – Oct. 5th:
-Visit Osaka Castle
-Osaka Aquarium
-Visit a beer factory (Asahi/Kirin?)
-Autumn Festival (Any recommendations?)
-Visit Kobe for beef
Tokyo – Oct. 6th:
-Leave Osaka and go back to Tokyo
-Visiting Pokemon Center & One Piece Store & Rilakkuma store @ Sunshine City
-Meet up with other friends who arrive in Japan today for a dinner
Tokyo – Oct. 7th:
-Fly home
