Is it better to submit a proof of naitei when updating your student visa the last time before graduation?

Situation: my current student visa expires in October this year. I graduate in March next year.
I already have a place to work at after graduation, but the application process for a change of status starts in December the earliest, as far as I know.

Is it better to submit a document that proves that I intend to continue working in Japan after graduating from uni when I update my current student visa in October one last time? Or do they not care about it?
Will it make the process of change of status easier?

Thank you.

  1. If you don’t graduate until March you need to renew your visa until March.

You can only start filing a working visa when your can prove that you are graduating in March.
