Is this car culture normal in Japan

Im sorry if my english contains errors english isnt my first languange

This Ford Focus from Kōbe is a Focus that was used to be rarely spotted in the Kōbe Area and uses the Route 3 between Kōbe and Osaka in the late hours of the night it has a big red strip that goes from its front bumper through its side skirt and ends on his rear bumper, he also has a “Top secret” spoiler from Top secret perfomance, his exhaust is in the hood, and the car has a bright yellow color.

I dont know how many hp that car has but it at least contains 755hp has it has a LT5 supercharged V8 engine.

That car did the Kōbe-Osaka route in few time like 12 minutes.

Theres a theory among a few japenese night riders that, that focus has hit the 350 kmh mark but i think it has reached 380 kmh, he is like a bullet speeding through the 2 lane route 3.

Its believed that the person that drives this focus was one of the persons that drove on of the infamous 911’s in the 90’s but that information cant be confirmed, the driver was mostly never seen, the car has pitch dark windows from the outside.

I have spotted it personally i was in a friends cars in 2019 and that car passed by us like a bullet train, its was about 2-3 in the morning.

I was lucky to spot him because i was living in japan for 1 year and would return to my home country in a few months.

The theory LT5 engine is mostly true has he has a custom letter Saying LT5 V8 in the back said another driver that spotted him stopped.

Although this is a theory because this car has only been spotted few times in kōbe, quite a few times in route 3 and also a few times in Osaka.

I know this car culture used to be common in the 90’s but is it still active?.

  1. In Japan, there are many people who put their soul into car.🇯🇵😂😂 That’s cool !!😎

  2. If the cops manage to catch someone actually driving that fast they’ll be in jail for a long time.

  3. These kinds of urban legends (even if they’re real, I’m not denying your story or anything!) become urban legends because they’re uncommon occurrences. If it were “normal” nobody would make a big deal out of it.

  4. Not that uncommon, especially if you live in the country side. Since there are hills and mountains making the road interesting. Even if a motorcycle gang blocks up an intersection in the middle of the night, as long as no one gets hurt or dies, the police rarely mobilize. Most of the time they just chill in their bus or at the station.

Although if a foreigner was caught racing or fighting…their punishment would be far worse than a citizen……

  5. 350 to 380 km/h sounds completely impossible because of that speed even slight dips or bumps in the road surface would upset the aero balance, create momentary lift and launch the car like Mark Webber in that Benz at Le Mans.
