I said it somewhere else and I don’t know why I feel this way, but if and it’s a big if, but if Ospreay leaves after WK, United Empire is Shota’s. I have no idea why I feel this way but I’m just so confident that would happen.
Also if Naito wins at the dome I wouldn’t be surprised it Tsuji takes it.
I really want Yuya to come back and have a gimmick hunting them all down because “Y’all forgot about ME?!”
Win the Heavyweight Title: Yota Tsuji – I feel the Shota/Ren leaning too much into their mentors playbooks is a deliberate story. Yota beating them to the big prize will be the catalyst to Shota and Ren’s evolution.
Main Event WK: Shota Umino (I think Yuya Uemura will get there before Ren and Yota too). Shota has had big matches with Naito and has superceded Ren in the feud with Okada. While Tsuji had the title match, Shota is being given the most opportunities.
Win the G1: Shota Umino – He just screams next ace to me. The rocket is inevitable.
Lead a Faction: Ren Narita – Strong Style is already a 3 Equal Guys faction. Wouldn’t take much for Ren to become the de facto leader once Suzuki steps away.
I haven’t watched a ton but so far I like Tsuji. Umino doesn’t seem totally to match his own gimmick.
As they are now Tsuji is the most fully formed and unique. I’d put him first everywhere but I can see Shota getting a main event too early and getting Naito/Stardust Genius treatment from fans.
Title: yota G1: ig shota WK: yota lol Faction: I think where gonna have a okada/shinsuke type deal where some how naito will leave lij and yota will become leader
Overall: yota>>>>>>
Tsuji is miles ahead of both of them. Even Uemura will overshadow them once he returns.
IWGP HW: Tsuji
G1: Tsuji
NJC: Narita
Main Event WK: Umino
Leader of a Faction: Tsuji
Yota in this image gives me huge junji ito vibes
Win the WHC: Yota is closest to that level.
Win G1 and main event WK: Shota will be the biggest draw.
Unit leader: Shota in hontai. Hontai is pretty weak at the moment. Shota just has to outperform Tana, which he will do in 2023.
Just getting back into New Japan and can tell you these three guys fucking rule. They’ve created a big fan three days into the G1.
– Tsuji will be champ first, his character work is impeccable and he’s the most over one
– Shooter will win the G1 and main event WK, he’s the best wrestler out of the 3
– Narita could form like Narita-gun, or Shooter could form Death Riders. Unlikely, I think Tsuji takes over LIJ in 2025 max
Yota Tsuji just stands out so much… I can’t remember the last time I was so invested in someone returning right from the start and New Japan clearly feels the same with his booking so far.
Win the Heavyweight title: Shota
Win the G1 Climax: Shota
Main event WK: Yota
Leader of a Faction: Yota
Tsuji’s got IT
Am I the only one who really doesn’t get the hype around Narita? Like he’s okay in ring, but I haven’t seen anything particularly special, and his look is so one to one with Shibata that it goes beyond tribute and just looks like a dollar store version of The Wrestler. Idk maybe I’m missing something but he just doesn’t seem to live up to his hype.
World: Shota G1: Shota Main WK: Shota Leader: Yota
I haven’t seen enough of Narita to put him on this list, but this will probably change in a few weeks/months.
Honestly I’ve really been enjoying them in the G1 they’ve been my favorite part thus far
Yota Tsuji I think is going to take over LIJ.
Narita may turn Strong Style in a bigger stable when Suzuki decides to retire. Shota will be the first at everything else while staying solo. Tsuji may achieve all that but its gonna take more time.
Most here seem to agree Tsuji is far ahead but I feel the directive is having Umino as their priority.
Tsuji got so much potential…i can see him doing all of this things. The Era of new Three Musketeers vs War Dogs is gonna be fun to watch

2. Yota Tsuji
3. Yota Tsuji
4. Yota Tsuji (Los Ingobernables de Japon)
Don’t ever call them the ‘new’ three musketeers…
