I am just curious because we will be arriving at Fukuoka airport at 7:35 pm, the willer express bus to osaka from hakata station is at 10pm. If we get late, my plan is to catch the willer express bus at kokura station by using shinkansen. Will the bus driver allow us to enter even if we have the bus ticket that should depart from hakata station?

I’d call them, drivers have a name list, you don’t get on, it’s a no-show.
Did you book the ticket online? You should be able to switch the departure on your reservation page. I had to do that earlier in the year on the Tokyo-Nagoya route.
It should be no charge too, since you’re not cancelling the reservation (although YMMV since it’s the summer rush)
