Hello everyone,
I have already done some research and looked through similar questions to this one, but as prices change over time I could not find a relevant post to this one for 2022. If you have a relevant post (for the cost of living in 2022) feel free to post it in the comments, it would be of great help.
So here is my situation:
I am trying to estimate how much it will cost me to live in Tokyo in order to understand if the offer I received is good enough to support me while I live there. After taking into account my current situation (single male that does not mind a frugal lifestyle) and looking through some posts on this subreddit & at [Numbeo](https://www.numbeo.com/cost-of-living/) I came up with these numbers:
* Rent: 80,000Â¥ (I am looking for something small one room or 1K)
* Electricity, Heating, Water & Gas: 23,000Â¥
* Telephone & Internet: 10,000Â¥
* Groceries & Eating Out: 60,000Â¥ (mostly eating at home or grabbing something from a convenience store)
* Other Expenses: 40,000Â¥ (Entertainment & Necessities)
* Transportation: 10,000Â¥ (Buying the commuter pass to go around)
Total Expenses Per month: 223,000Â¥
Are these estimations considered normal or are they completely off, in the current landscape?
Thank you in advance for your answers
