Just as the title says. I know that Yokohama is kind of a tourist destination in a sense and the prices can be a bit higher, so, wanted to ask for the recommendation, if you have any!
If there is a convenient website for that kind of thing, it’s also welcomed!

Go to kannai area, loads of cheap and good hotels
hmm how much rate do you define affordable? there is some app something happyhotel. And no tourists don’t go there so price is standard. There are a lot on the side near Sheraton on west exit of Yokohama station
There are several between Sakuragicho and Noge. Not expensive, not cheap, just normal ones.
Bali an about ten minutes from kannai station. It’s nice and about the same price as the hotels that don’t have amenities.
They have the petite bali around there now too but the big one has the outdoor bath.

As others have said, Kannai has some options. The area around Isezaki police station (5 minute walk from Kannai Station) has some reasonably priced ones.
For Yokohama Station area, Hotel Belta is clean and reliable. There’s also a million of them out of the Chinatown gate of Ishikawacho Station.
There is this website called [happyhotel](https://happyhotel.jp/). It shows pictures of the rooms, availability and also prices. Maybe that helps.
I had to stay in a love hotel up in northern Honshu with my boss (both male) due to no reservations and no availability. It was a dingy place decked out with lots of pink stuff. Been there done that I guess.
Shin-Yokohama about 6 min walk from the station. Hotel Fairy. Very clean and spacious. No interaction with staff and pay by machine in your room.
Weekday stay for about 5-7,000yen and weekend for 8-10,000yen.
