I’m gonna start this off by saying I have a slight understanding of the language, but am not fluent.
I want to start work in a Japanese restaurant as a waiter and / or bartender. What are the common phrases (in Japanese) that I should be aware of? E.g. “What can I get for you?”, “What drinks would you like?”, “Is that all?”
Phrases like that that would help me when it comes to starting.

Whatever the customer says, just respond “畏まりました” and go back to the kitchen and make your best guess. Can’t go wrong.
>“What can I get for you?”
ご注文はお決まりですか。
(technically, this means “have you decided on your order?”)
> “What drinks would you like?”
お飲み物はいかがなさいますか。
> “Is that all?”
以上でよろしいでしょうか。
Besides that I can think of 店内でお召し上がりですか (will you eat in?) as something I’d hear a lot… probably would help to narrow down exactly what type of restaurant this is since that makes no sense in a bar. Or just copy what your coworkers do.
