USJ Express Pass Question

Just wondering about buying an express pass at USJ.

When buying, it asks for a Selection of experience time zone (translated from 体験時間帯の選択)

The time periods are an hour each.

I’m confused since Express Passes include at least four rides each, which wouldn’t be possible to do within an hour, how does that work?

Thanks in advance!

  1. You’re supposed to select a time for _each_ ride individually. It’s not 1 time for all rides.

From what I remember, if you’re using Google translate on the Web pages, it can mess up the dropdown windows. So look at the options and then go back to the standard Japanese page and make your selection.

  2. From memory for each of the selected rides you schedule a 1 hr window to enter the express queue. It was never the same hour, I think a bit of flexibility. I would certainly recommend it if going on a day that’s likely to be busy.

  3. Express Pass was priceless for the “must do” rides that we wanted to do.
