I’m moving from England to Japan. I am currently waiting on my certificate of eligibility. In the meantime I’m trying to tie up loose ends and general life admin.
I know that, assuming I’m granted the coe, I need to book an appointment at the Japanese Embassy in London to take it, along with a visa application form.
My question is this; outside of things like missing or incorrect information is there a risk of my visa being denied?
I’m trying to work out if I should hand in my notice at my current job once I get the coe or when I get the visa. If the visa application at the Embassy is a formality/admin, I’ll hand in my notice at my current job once I get the coe. If my visa getting denied at the embassy is a possibility, I’ll hold off until then.
