Re: red light cameras (and lack thereof). Some foiks here have said that the reason there are no red light cameras because police don’t have the ability under law to take your photo if you aren’t committing a crime^#, and that running a red light is not a criminal offence. How does that track with speed cameras taking full face photos?
Was the law recently changed? I have several friends who have absolutely been photographed for speeding, but also at the top of the scale (loss of licence territory) and maybe 10-15 years ago.

What’s the process of selling a house you own on lease land? Does the landowner have any say in the transaction or are they obliged to continue the current lease with the new owners? How can the landowner get their land back if they eventually want to?

So, I lost my NTT bill this month. The deadline is the 31st, would there be a problem if I don’t pay this month? Will there be a new bill next month for 2 months? Will I have to pay a late fee?

Any recommendations for where to buy laptop batteries? I’m comfortable doing the work myself but not sure which sites are reliable. I’m fine buying PC parts off Amazon or wherever but I’m a little more cautious about batteries.
