1. A meme about Nova was the last thing I expected logging into reddit today.

4. I see no problem with this as long as the Nova head teacher is also the chad-in-chief

5. From my experience at a chain Eikaiwa….not only the attractive women, but the demo lessons (bonus if they join), the large classes (bonus if over a certain number of students, I forget how many) and any tests, events (extra money) etc.

7. In my GABA days (old system, pre-2001), this one “teacher” used to sabotage trial lessons he had with men or age-30+ women. The only lessons he tried to secure were the ones with younger women.

8. Then there are the the Nova guys who level-up students based on looks to curry favor with them. The old harridans are passed over for level ups…

12. Pretty gross of him I guess, but why would you care? You’re there to teach students regardless of what they look like.

13. My problem is getting creepy male students who only want to take classes from female teachers.

14. Still kind of shocks me that they resurrected as a company. You’d think that the stigma of the first detonation and meltdown would have deterred them from using the same brand name.
