My company has opened a new unit, in the same city, and wants me to change location, but it is not interesting for me. The owner informed me that if I don’t go, he will fire me under the job abandonment law, can this be done? I work in special education, I have more than 1 year in the company, and my contract is indefinite “Seishain?”. I wish for guidance, I am a bit desperate.

Changing your work location within reason or temporarily unreasonably is one of the trade offs for having permanent employment.
Apologize, agree, go, and hope you haven’t poisoned the well for yourself.
What’s the problem if the location is in the same city? Seems entirely reasonable. You could be moved across the country. This can fall under abandonment if you refuse.
You may want to confirm if you’re contract or seishan
Part of permanent employment is them being able to move you within reason. The same city is very much so within reason. You finding it boring is not enough of a reason to not go. Your job is to do what they tell you. If you don’t like it maybe it’s time to resign or get hit with abandonment.
To adhere with the terms of your employment, you’d have to resign if you don’t want to change locations. The legal notice period is 2 weeks since you’ve been there more than a year.
You can fill some / all of that 2 week span with any remaining PTO days, but if he wants you to report to that new office ASAP, you do need to go for any days you can’t cover with PTO while your resignation period plays out.
That’s the choice you have, if you absolutely don’t want to work in that office.
