This picture is sooo sweet! I bet he’d like tamago. my kids loved sweet potato maki and avocado as well when they were little.
Is a baby!
He looks unimpressed. Lol
Just watching the parent eat lol
My daughters first trip to a restaurant was my local favorite sushi spot at 8 days old. Mama was ready for some sushi after 9 months of not being able to.
The baby aside, the fish looks quite good. Imagine you get some great stuff in coastal Portugal
My almost 2 year old’s first sushi trip was a few weeks ago and was to a revolving conveyer belt spot that has a robot that delivers drinks. She was way too preoccupied with the conveyer belts and robot to eat. I’ll have to try a more traditional place next time.
He’s still waiting on his uni nigiri
My Mom took me to eat at a sushi restaurant when I was about 5/6 yo thinking I’d eat chicken teriyaki (and I did). The man who owned it gave me some tuna sashimi to try and created a life long sushi addiction 😂. He gave me like 5 pieces and then brought me a plate of about 20 pieces, I completely wiped it out.
Totally didn’t give me realistic expectations for when we went to Blue Fin later in new York and it was like $6 a piece 😂😭
Children under five should not be served raw fish as they are at a far higher risk of food poisoning due to underdeveloped immune systems.

Very cute
he’s really cute omg ☺️
Our son is now 2 and we’ve gone occasionally for sushi since he was a year. He can always be counted on to demolish a plate of gyoza, loves miso soup, and recently discovered he really likes tobiko! We’re so glad he’s enjoying it because that lets us enjoy ourselves too.
