Unsure on whether or not to commit to a plan of going for a masters program in Japan

I (19F) am a 2nd year architecture student from Turkey, currently studying in Turkey, I have always loved Japanese architecture and I want to learn about the history and the philosophy behind japanese architecture. However I have some doubts that is stopping me from fully committing to making a plan. Mostly the xenophobia and the attitude that Japanese people have towards foreigners and also the harassment towards women and what I might encounter in the architecture field (from what I understand, unlike my home country, architecture field is dominated by men in Japan) Tho everything I know is basically what I have heard from others but the opinions I hear vary a lot, from some people saying it is really isolating to some saying that you get used to it and dont even recognise it after a while. I am generally a shy and introverted person so I wanted to get the opinion and hear the experiences of other foreigners, preferable college students, that are currently living and studying in Japan.
