To those scheduled to start with Interac in March/April

1. Have you contacted them since the last email?

   School was on winter holiday from about December 21 – January 12th. My guess is that their offices were working little to 0 during the winter break. (New Years holiday was December 30 – January 3rd so almost all businesses closed, plus January 7-9 being a 3 day holiday week-end.)

   I do know that Interac lost some district contracts recently as well and their are Interac ALTs that have been working the past academic year and were just told that their contracts would not be renewed in April.

   So, between the holidays, losing contracts, probably/hopefully picking up others, their email replies are slow.

   Reach out every 5 business days until early February and then look for something else.

2. Supposedly CoE’s will be handed out the end of this month to Feb. Did you get access to the company email yet?

3. From what I’m understanding, they are currently splitting everyone up into their more specific branches, and then that branch would have reached out to you!

   If you haven’t been contacted yet, it’s likely they just haven’t decided what specific branch to put you in, which could be for a multitude of reasons but I’m sure they aren’t just going to let you down last minute!

   Stay hopeful, and don’t bug them, I’m sure someone will reach out soon 🙂

4. Around this time of the year they start sales pitching with BOEs for a recontract. And results can be had around the 1st two weeks of Feb. North in particular is renewing this year so without any results yet they can’t offer any work contracts as of the moment. They like to say that not hearing anything is a good sign. But sucks if you are on the waiting side. Hope you get your info asap OP.

5. Kanto north has been emailed pretty regularly and they’ve mailed most of our COEs, so it seems like a regional company issue.

6. Interac north is a gong show, and piss-poorly managed if it’s even managed at all.

   Itll all come but it will likely be right before their estimated end of the date ranges.

7. I got hired for March with Kanto North. They’ve been emailing me pretty regularly. Have you checked your interac email and also your spam folder of your regular email? Because I once had an email go to spam and now i check it daily.

8. Until closer to the next school year they may find it hard to know what they actually have. They’re going around to BoEs at this point. Be patient.

9. Just send your recruiter an email, or drop a message on their site. They respond pretty quick.

10. As an ex-Interac employee, the title of this thread reads like “you have three months to find a better job, the countdown starts now”

11. Ive got my emails recently for Interac West, Im supposed to Arrive by March 19

    Fukuoka Airport , and I’m looking at a 28h plane ride.

    I am having trouble downloading as Interac no longer send out personally.

    Any one with same problem. Any advice,
