Foodie recommendations

I got invited to Osaka for a few days, and I’ve been living in Tokyo for almost a year and a half.

Anyone living in or around Osaka have any solid recommendations for where to eat?

Pakistani restaurant Ali’s kitchen at shinsaibashi near dior, Peruvian restaurant in okamachi station, absinthe cafe in shinsaibashi, vietnamese restaurant Anngon in shinsaibashi (but it used to be better in 2020-21 than now), some places in 3bangai in umeda, they have nice places with enough veggies. Smth like that

  4. What kind of food? When I go to an area I don’t know much about I use tabelog which has some warts and drawbacks but it is the most reliable in my experience. Look for shops over 3.50 for low end stuff and if you want to go fancier look for shops around 3.70+. Also, you can search YouTube for candidate shops and see if content producers have made a video about the place you’re targeting.
