Where in Tokyo I can find the nail salon with proper sterilization of instruments like autoclave? Everywhere I ask they just use alcohol to wipe instruments and it is cringey…
I’ve gotten my nails done here for years and years, never once seen sanitation on the level that I remember seeing back in the US. I’ve never seen them put tools into a UV cabinet. They always just seem to use the tools customer to customer. Also never seen a tech wearing gloves. I’ve been to 4 different salons over the years, so not a huge sample size.
When I first came I was pretty surprised by this but I’ve never had issues at all.
