I saw a shop with a price of 49000yen including transportation, rental and the course but they only accept fluent Japanese speakers… My japanese is sub-par
Where the hell are they taking you diving in Tokyo?
Market price seems to be minimum 7man. If you see cheaper there’s maybe a catch (eg equipment rental excluded).
I opened a thread on the same topic last week, you can check my post history. There’s plenty, I suggest you just go on PADI’s website for the list. You can filter by language. But the English speaking ones I’ve seen are at least 8man.
Australia in the winter is always an option; and honestly you’re gonna see a lot cooler stuff than anywhere around Tokyo
I know the dive masters there, retired U.S. military guy. he’s great
Why not take a holiday in Phuket or somewhere and do the course? You can complete the course in 3 or 4 days, in English and at a reasonable price. Izu has really good diving, but something like Richelieu Rock doesn’t compare.
