Today I informed a superior that there is a nest with eggs inside the company’s area. I thought there would be no problem, as a year ago a pigeon raised two young in the same place. This time I was told that it would be better to clean the area, even with 4 eggs. What does Japanese law say? If it is the same as other countries it would be forbidden to move a nest that has eggs or chicks. Has anyone seen a similar situation in Japan? I know it’s a crime to kill snakes…

Was at gotenmba outlet and saw a nest with chicks inside.
Was wondering why no one removed it.
Had alot of poop on the sides of the wall as the nest was on a light fixture.
Sounds like you can have oyakodon for dinner tonight /s.

It’s forbidden to remove the nest if it’s in use. Please just leave the poor creatures alone.
Two pigeons fledged from the tree in our garden this July; it only took 4 weeks from hatching to fledgling. They did not make much noise and droppings.
