Does anyone know what Kagura piece is being imitated by the first Tegoto of the Jiuta piece Onoe no Matsu?

I’m a Shamisen player looking to learn more about this particular composition by Miyagi Michio. The liner notes say this :

TEGOTO I (imitation of ancient kagura (Shinto) music)

This is quite a surprising note and very puzzling.

I reached out to Komuso and they said they didn’t recognize any likeness to any Kagura style in the piece.

Can any traditional Japanese music aficionados, particularly Kagura and Jiuta styles, offer any insight?
