That’s common preserved jellyfish served in Chinese restaurants. Obviously not raw like a real sushi restaurant.
I absolutely love jellyfish salad – it’s the perfect summer salad – light, crunchy, slightly sweet, slightly tart, just perfect for a hot summer’s night.
If it was crunchy, definitely jellyfish
That’s 100% kurage/jellyfish. Highly dependent onthe seasoning to really make it shine, but textural component is a big part.
Yup, this is jelly fish. Though I see this a lot more often in Cantonese cuisine then Japanese.
