Does anyone have experience with SWAP? Any idea how long it takes to get a visa through them?

So I called to make an appointment at the Japanese embassy to apply for a working holiday visa and their closest open appointment date is pretty far out from now. The embassy website mentions that SWAP is an agency that they work with to handle working holiday visas and so I’m assuming SWAP has some direct communication with the embassy to submit applications directly to them.

Would applying through SWAP be faster than waiting for an appointment? I don’t actually need their help because I already have all my forms filled out but if they can forward those forms faster than I can get an appointment that’d be great. I’d rather arrive in early fall (like any time in sept to early oct) since moving in the cold sounds difficult.

Anyone who can give their experience with them would be greatly appreciated!
