Mobile plan resumption

I am on holiday abroad at present, cancelled my Y! mobile plan online(nothing contractual) before leaving Japan around the beginning of May so I won’t have to pay for the months I won’t be using.

I see yesterday that I cannot login to my softbank account (parent company), so I assume they have 停止ed my service for good. I will be going back to Japan in a couple of weeks, I want to know what to expect when I do go back. Will they just let me resume my contract again without/after settling my outstanding fees, or will I be asked to go through the process of getting a new contract again?

Getting a new contract(with any company) is out of the question for certain reasons, and I will need mobile data immediately. Any other suggestions, preferably around Narita? I am aware of something like temporary mobile data SIMs, is that a good option?

  1. Since you bailed without paying. You are blacklisted. You won’t be able to get a new contract without first paying off the outstanding debt from previous contract.
