REVISED 9.5 Day Itinerary Review (TOKYO – KYOTO – NARA – OSAKA)

Hi all! I made a post a few weeks ago on my itinerary for October and after taking some feeback I revised my itinerary below! Also I’m getting the 7-day JR pass which I would redeem on Wednesday, thankfully I can get it before they start to increase the price, after calculating the costs, I save like $1 (lol) as opposed to buying seperately but I think it’ll be conveinent to just get the pass.

I know some of the food spots on here can be deemed as “overrated” however this is my first visit and want to try all the trendy spots. I’m also reasearcing on Tabelog for the local spots 🙂

  1. Looks over planned and focused on fairly dull shopping and food (such as Starbucks) to me, but you should go for it if it’s what you want to do. I suspect that you’re not accounting for the impact jet lag will have on the first few days of your trip – it seems unlikely that you’ll want to be doing things at night, for instance.

  2. Don’t keep your luggage at Kyoto station. It’s a mess with thousands of tourists and chances of getting a locker are nil. Either keep your luggage at the hotel, or use the Kuro Neko (black cat) delivery service to move your luggage to the next hotel.
