Japanese let’s players

Hi guys!

I’ve recently been obsessed with the YouTuber ポッキー and I’ve been binge watching his videos. He’s been the main part of my Japanese immersion lately.

However I want to diversify my studies a little bit, so I’ve been looking for other let’s players, but so far I haven’t found anyone I’ve really liked. Do you guys know any let’s players on YouTube that you like and can recommend? Maybe also twitch channels, I don’t particularly care for the platform.

Thank you in advance! 😊

  1. 八田エミリ is great (I also think she is very cute)

ヒカキン is basically the king of Japanese youtube, I really like his gaming channel too

I really like Zelda, so セナ’s videos are great (I especially like his Windwaker HD series)

  2. 0 clue if youre into these kinds of Tubers but ever looked at virtual youtubers? So Kizuna AI for example?

  3. フジ工場:https://www.youtube.com/user/thefujifactory
    He’s my favorite youtuber ❤️

  4. You could try 花江夏樹
Hes a pretty famous voice actor( demon Slayer) and he puts Japanese subtitles on all his videos so it might make it easier to follow.

  5. セナ is one of my favorites! He does mostly Zelda and some other games like Kingdom Hearts for example

  6. ポッキー is awesome and i did not expect another learner to watch him, lol. I’m actually in the same boat as well, however I did hear good things about 2Bro and HikakinGames if you’re willing to give it a shot. If you have any particular games you enjoy maybe you could look for let’s players by just googling the japanese title and adding “実況プレイ” at the end, that is what I do.

  7. 兄者弟者 are two guys (and I think actual brothers) that run a let’s play channel together: [https://www.youtube.com/user/norunine](https://www.youtube.com/user/norunine)

They mostly do horror/thriller games with some action or indie titles mixed in, as well as occasional podcasts for when you don’t want to keep your eyes on the screen. I like that they will usually play the plot-based games through to the end, so it keeps me coming back!
